Heirloom Portraits

Like most people, there was once a point in my life when I didn't understand the value of professional portraits. I wondered why anyone would spend hundreds if not thousands on photos. I decided to take them at home with my cell phone (Before I was a photographer). It wasn't until after I had my children when I realized I had nothing but low quality cell phone photos to memorialize what were the most special moments in my life! I had invested in a wedding photographer, but didn't think to invest in all the other life moments that meant the whole world to me, like my pregnancy, baby photos, moments with my family, or even just celebrating and memorializing my own beauty and empowerment.

Now I know better, and I've made it my mission to educate others on how important this is. I urge everyone, whether you choose me or go with another photographer entirely, to realize that these are the most precious moments in life. Moments that can never be re-done, and having photos that you can look back on decades from now is something that makes it a lifetime investment worth every penny.
