The most common thing I hear from couples? "We don't want to feel like we're posing." After 16 years and 350+ weddings across Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and destinations worldwide, I've learned that the photographs couples treasure most are not the ones where everyone looked perfect — they're the ones where everyone forgot I was there.

For most of your day, I move quietly through the celebration, watching and anticipating, positioned where the moment is about to happen before it does. During portraits, I'm less director and more co-conspirator — I'll get you moving, laughing, and out of your own head until the camera disappears from your awareness entirely.
